Physical Considerations

The beRTK Base Station is a RTK positioning base station, capable of broadcasting RTK positioning information over a wireless 802.4.15 radio (zigbee).

The positioning information is obtained via a uBlox ZED-F9P RTK receiver, which provides information given by several constellations (GPS L1/L2, Glonass, Galileo, Beidou and QZSS). It can also obtain information by using an internet (WiFi) connection with the NTRIP protocol.

The beRTK Base Station counts on a compute module as its CPU board, which enables a fine control over the acquired and sent information by the module.

The beRTK Base Station can be powered either by its dual hot-swap internal batteries (each with 1070mAh, 7.4V nominal voltage) or by using an external power supply connection capable of delivering up to 500mA and a voltage between 8V and 21V.
